Throne and Liberty Patch Notes: Latest Update (Oct 7, 2026)

The most recent Throne and Liberty update is “Update 4.15.0”, which was shared on Steam on October 7, 2026. Lucky Reward Chests will now offer Vegamor’s Unique Heroic Trait Enchantment Stones, and the success rates for Trait Resonance growth have increased. There are also several changes to weapon Potential Abilities and adjustments to Dagger and Gauntlet Skill Cores. Plus, the Tower of Greed season is coming to a close.

What changed in 4.15.0

New content and systems

• Lucky Reward Chests are added and granted by chance to all characters who contributed to the Vegamor encounter.
• Unique Heroic Trait Enchantment Stones previously dropped by Vegamor now come from Lucky Reward Chests.
• Lucky Reward Chests are excluded from Guild Distribution.
• Certain Amitoi, Shapeshifts, and boss materials can now be registered for Guild Distribution, including Chaos Prisms and Snow Flowers.
• Trait Resonance enhancement roll success rates increase.
• A new recipe crafts Trait Resonance Stones from 6 Trait Resonance Stone Pieces, 25 Precious Magic Powder, and 30,000 Sollant.

Weapon balance

• Cooldown reductions drop on several Potential Abilities: Chain Hook Enchant 6s to 4s, Ankle Strike Enchant 9s to 5s, Blitz Enchant 10s to 8s.
• Clay's Salvation Enchant falls from 9s to 6s, Tempest Strike Enchant from 10s to 8s, Supernova Collapse Enchant from 30s to 20s.
• Indomitable Carapace Enchant cooldown reduction falls from 25% to 15%.
• Deadly Marker Enchant now affects party members. Critical Hit drops from 240 to 120, Side and Rear Critical Hit from 360 to 180.
• Distorted Sanctuary Enchant Sustained Healing per party member rises from 2.5% to 3%.
• Shadow Walker now requires a Dagger Mobility Skill or a Dagger Skill that moves the caster.
• Creeping Death raises Venomous Edge activation chance from 10% to 12%. Venomous Swamp and Foretold Agony also change.
• Crimson Afterimage raises Blood Explosion damage by 10% and removes the separate 10% player damage increase.

Items and stats

• Black Lament Dawn and Ashen Oath Brand 2-piece sets raise Critical Hit Damage from 15% to 17%.
• Both of those sets raise the PvP Critical Hit per 10 stat bonus from 30 to 36.
• Returned Lord and Frost Lord Black Scale 2-piece sets raise Heavy Attack Damage from 20% to 22%.
• Critical Hit Damage, Heavy Attack Damage, and their Resistances now remove only the amount previously gained when a stat decreases.
• Azure Vow Set no longer keeps its Skill Damage Amplification after the equipment is removed through Equipment and Stat Sets.
• Thunder Ascension appearance is fixed and its cloak icon and appearance change.

Bug fixes

• Gauntlets: fixed defense failing when a Defense Skill was used, and Specialization 2 and 3 not applying.
• Crossbows: Mortal Mark additional damage no longer exceeds the intended value at Legendary Lv. 1 and above.
• Vegamor Phase 2 piton and Snowstorm Crystal issues are fixed, and an Ego-less Great Tree Warrior now appears in Phase 3.
• Exodus: fixed the missing revival UI in Faction Battles and incorrect Grimturg rewards from Conquest Participation Rewards.
• Stone Grave Cradle boss attacks and the Deathless Queen's Lair Mana Core Bind effect are fixed.
• Ice Survival Coin Pouches no longer grant 2 points on certain floors.
• Earth's Memory no longer includes Old Red Frost in the additional reward pool.
• Fixed Purification items failing to remove Winter Storm Wand [Dragon's Intimidation].

Events and other changes

• The Tower of Greed season has ended and matchmaking is unavailable until the next season begins.
• Remnants of Nix selects Danger and High-Risk areas randomly from all 7 areas.
• Abyss Points from Nix Contracts are now items that are used automatically when obtained.
• Player-selected Profile Frames now display in Combined Rankings.
• Solisium Starlight Festival runs from October 8 through October 15.
• Return of the Autumn Haunted Harvest runs from October 15 through November 5.
• Event Pass: Whispering Barrows sales begin.
