Nick GuliNick Guli|

The latest Ready or Not update is “RoN v1.5 Update: Mission Editor Changelog (v1.5.2)”, which was shared on Steam on Sep 3, 2026. The Mission Editor debuts as an introductory release. It lets players customize gameplay variables in existing missions, especially for non-playable characters. Plus, the Triple Weapon Pack now offers free cosmetic styles for everyone. This update also brings a lengthy list of fixes for animations, levels, and other bugs.

What changed in 1.5.2

New content

  • The Mission Editor is added to the main menu and is playable in singleplayer and in a multiplayer Friends-Only lobby.
  • Free styles for all players: MK-V 'HC' (Hard Chrome) pistol, 590M 'FDE' (Flat Dark Earth) shotgun, M32A1 'LSPD' Blue rotary grenade launcher.
  • Players already eligible for the Triple Weapon Pack weapons keep the original styles and also get the new ones.
  • The MK-V pistol gets a new animation set.

Mission Editor options

  • Basic AI options cover SWAT health, accuracy and fire rate, plus civilian health.
  • Basic suspect options cover health, start morale, stun resistance, accuracy and fire rate.
  • Basic player options include Limited Bandages (2) and a Damage Cap for the maximum damage taken in a single hit.
  • Basic mission options include Door Trap Count, five Door Trap Types and Default NPC Spawn Points (Enabled/Disabled).
  • Advanced player options include Player Health, Shielded Melee Damage Multiplier and Rules of Engagement: Friendly Fire and Friendly Fire Penalty.
  • Advanced mission options include Max Locked Doors Percentage, Max Open Doors Percentage and Chance of Suspect Death by Suicide.
  • A full list of Advanced AI options is on the VOID website changelog.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed suspects sometimes being unable to surrender, move or shoot.
  • Fixed death animations sometimes playing at the wrong time for clients in multiplayer.
  • Fixed many weapon animation issues, including G18-C, 590M, M14S-16 and pump action shotgun dry fire animations.
  • Fixed traps sometimes spawning slightly too far away from certain doorframes.
  • Fixed suspects sometimes vanishing from helicopter camera views.
  • Fixed 6.5×48 JHP ammo being weaker than intended.
  • Fixed a crash when pressing L1/LB in the loadout menu with the M32A1 launcher equipped.
  • Fixed being able to open the loadout or mission selection screen and the pause menu simultaneously.

Platform fixes

  • (PS5) Fixed being unable to unlock the 'Eye of Providence' achievement.
  • (XBOX & PS5) Fixed being unable to unlock the 'Nosce Te Ipsum' achievement.
  • (XBOX) Fixed a rare crash when suspending the game while linking an Epic account.
  • (EGS) Fixed a rare crash when loading into Neon Tomb.

Known issues

  • Active shooter suspects can still appear in default active shooter levels when disabled in the Mission Editor.
  • Workaround: after disabling active shooter, enable any other suspect archetype.
  • The 'Suspect Fire Rate' value does not save. The difficulty chosen at mission creation sets the fire rate.
  • The bomb count modifier does not change the number of bombs on the level.
  • Suspects given the Tactical Archetype via Mission Editor use MLO Voice Over.
  • The 'G18-C' pistol is missing '-C' from its name in languages other than English.
  • The MK-V magazine-check third person animation does not fully complete.
  • The replay viewer camera may have issues cycling between actors and orbiting.
