Is Lost Ark dead?
No. Lost Ark averages 4,922 concurrent players on Steam and the trend is fairly steady (flat on the previous 30 days).
Lost Ark has settled into a mid-size community on Steam. The last 30 days held level against the 30 days before, yet the longer view is softer: the player base is 19% below where it stood three months ago, and the highest we have recorded, 13,990 on Apr 15, 2026, is well behind it. Monthly averages have slid steadily since that April launch-window high.
The biggest swing came in Oct 2026, when the monthly average fell 14% on the month before. Nothing in the news lines up with that drop, so it reads as a continuation of the gradual fade. For players, queues should stay quick, especially around 17:00 UTC (1 pm ET), while lobbies will feel quietest near 08:00 UTC (4 am ET).
