What changed in Layali Grove 2.0
Access
- In Season Reorientation, Layali Grove Easy Mode supports Squad Fill.
- Layali Grove Normal opens every weekend.
- Operators who prefer to go in alone can still do so.
New routes and vehicles
- The river system is reworked, and waterways now connect more of the map.
- New areas create alternate approaches, including routes through the WSR Lab and fishing area.
- Assault Boat gives a squad a protected, armed way to move across the map.
- A smaller watercraft is quicker and more exposed, built for speed rather than security.
- Recovering an Assault Boat is the first Operations flagship task that lets Operators earn a usable vehicle during a run.
New activities
- A new fishing area, caves and encounters give Operators reasons to leave familiar routes.
- Fishing has its own collection, area-specific catches, gear choices and progression.
- Rods, lines, reels and bait change how you fish and what you can handle.
- Harmonica is the first freely playable musical item in Operations.
- You can learn the harmonica in the Grove, collect more to play, and perform alone or with other Operators.
- New people to meet and tasks to follow are added throughout the Grove.
