Deadlock Patch Notes: Latest Update (Oct 5, 2026)
Nick Guli|The latest Deadlock update is “Minor Update – 10-05-2026”, which was posted on Steam on October 5, 2026. This update includes a bug fix that resolves issues with troopers moving too slowly in lane. The Rat King’s Scrap Grenade and Rat Swarm received buffs. However, Rule, Ratannia! has been toned down in several areas. Sinclair has also been nerfed, affecting his gun, base HP Regen, and multiple abilities.
What changed in the latest Deadlock update
Bug fixes
- Fixed bugs that were causing troopers to walk too slowly in lane.
- Rat King: Scrap Grenade has some bouncing targeting bugs fixed.
Rat King
- Scrap Grenade damage increases from 65 to 70.
- Scrap Grenade T2 Damage increases from 65 to 70.
- Rat Swarm base cooldown is reduced from 28s to 24s.
- Rule, Ratannia! cooldown increases from 130 to 160.
- Rule, Ratannia! Damage Reduction falls from 20% to 15%, and Radius from 24m to 20m.
- Rule, Ratannia! Charge Duration falls from 12s to 10s. Bonus Move speed no longer scales with Spirit.
- Rule, Ratannia! now falls faster while charging.
- Rule, Ratannia! T1 changes from +1m/s Move Speed to +2m/s, and no longer gives -20s cooldown.
Rule, Ratannia! upgrades
- T1 no longer gives -20s cooldown. Total cooldown goes from 110s to 160s.
- T2 no longer grants +8s Charge Duration. Total charge duration goes from 20s to 10s.
- T2 Flag Duration is reduced from +8s to +5s.
- T3 Damage Reduction is reduced from 15% to 10%. Total Damage Reduction goes from 35% to 25%.
Sinclair
- Base HP Regen is reduced from 2 to 1.
- Gun falloff range is reduced from 25-61 to 20-60.
- Gun base bullet damage is reduced from 17.76 to 16.5.
- Vexing Bolt now does half damage to objectives.
- Spectral Assistant gun falloff range is reduced from 25-61 to 20-60.
- Rabbit Hex radius is reduced from 6.5m to 6m. T3 is reduced from +3m Radius to +2m.
- Audience Participation copy duration is reduced from 12s to 9s.
- Audience Participation copied cooldown increases from 40% to 60%.
