DayZ Patch Notes: Latest Update (Sep 16, 2026)

What changed in 1.30
New content
- Two motorbikes are added: the moped and the enduro, each with several color variants.
- The moped comes in three fixed colors: blue, red, and yellow.
- The enduro comes in four base colors, with additional plates in those colors that can be swapped, mixed, and matched.
- Motorbikes use a new two-wheeled simulation with leaning characteristics and ragdoll physics for crashes.
- Color variants from the alpha days return for select firearms, with upgraded visuals and textures. Some are on Experimental.
Quality of life
- More than 150 inventory icons are improved for visual consistency and legibility.
- The new icons share a unified capture angle, consistent outline weight, and enough contrast against the slot background.
Infected
- Infected choose upward, centered, or downward attacks based on the height of the player's head relative to them.
- Attacks respond to standing, crouching, prone, stairs, slopes, and other uneven terrain.
- Infected can now perform a new running heavy attack.
Testing and community
- Motorbikes can be tested on the "Many Motorbikes" servers coming to Experimental. Feedback goes through the Feedback Tracker.
- Animation system updates may cause problems with animation-related mods.
- The Creator Program with Lurkit returns for DayZ Badlands and runs for approximately one week. Exact dates are to be announced.
- DayZ Badlands is coming out on October 15.
