How demanding is Overwatch 2?

Its minimum memory requirement of 6 GB is higher than 31% of the 183 PC games we track. Its 50 GB install is larger than 58% of them.

Overwatch 2 targets older budget machines. The minimum requirements include graphics hardware from the GTX 600 and HD 7000 eras. Even the recommended tier suggests entry-level and older cards by today’s standards. So, a current mid-range gaming PC can handle it easily. The Steam Deck also gets a Playable rating, which makes sense for a game that doesn’t require heavy hardware.

The graphics card and processor are crucial since this is a fast-paced competitive shooter. Smooth performance is more important than visual effects. The leap from 6 GB to 8 GB RAM isn’t huge, but aiming for 8 GB is a safer choice. One interesting point is that both tiers list storage at 50 GB, meaning a larger drive doesn’t provide extra space. Install the game on an SSD to reduce load times, and ensure you have a wired broadband connection for stable matches.
