The canter of our solar system, the star that gives us warmth and light and is the reason life exists on our planet is more than just a great ball of fire.
Aside from the life-giving warmth, the sun also sends out a constant flow of particles called the solar wind, and it occasionally erupts with giant clouds of solar material or explosions of X-rays called solar flares, which can rattle space even to the edges of our solar system.
Not too long ago NASA released a footage of these amazing activities on the Sun’s surface in high-definition captuing up to 10 wavelengths of invisible ultra violet rays.
The release footage is 30 minutes long and you can watch it here, but this time lapse will give you a better picure of the frightening forces generated by the Sun.
