A new screenshot is now available for Mario Kart 8, the latest entry of the Mario Kart series now available on Wii U in all regions.
The new screenshot, which can be found at the end of this post, showcases one of the changes that will be introduced by the new game’s update which will be released today in all regions, the on-screen mini map.
Among the new features included in the new patch will be a new records screen which keeps tracks of total coins collected, online win-loss record, the Mercedez-Benz DLC and more. Other tweaks include saving the last used kart customization, improvements for the online mode and more. There’s no doubt that today’s update will vastly improve the Mario Kart 8 experience, making the game even better than it already is.
Yesterday it’s finally been revealed that Mario Kart 8 is going to receive two DLC packs in the future, including three new characters, four new vehicles and eight courses each. The first pack will be released this November while the second one will be released on May 2015.
Mario Kart 8 is now available exclusively on Wii U. The new update will be available in all regions later today.
