A new batch of screenshots is now available for Bayonetta 2, the upcoming action game developed by Platinum Games exclusively for Nintendo Wii U.
The new screenshots, which can be found at the end of this post, showcase a variety of the game’s elements like the new city of Fimbulvinter, characters, combat and more. The new city looks especially nice, especially when compared to the city of Vigrid of the first game.
Earlier this week Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto has confirmed that the team would definitely like to nurture the series and develop a new game if the opportunity arises. The producer has also revealed that Nintendo gave the team quite a bit of help and allowed the game to become even better with some spot-on suggestions.
All copies of Bayonetta 2 will include a download code for the original Bayonetta, which is going to be ported on Wii U. The Wii U port of the game is based on the Xbox 360 version of the game, running at steady 60 FPS. New content not found in the original version of the game is also getting included, like some special Nintendo themed costumes for Bayonetta and more.
Bayonetta 2 will launch during October 2014 in North America and Europe exclusively on Wii U. More on the game will be coming soon so stay tuned for all the latest updates.
