A new batch of screenshots is now available for J-Stars Victory VS, showcasing some of the playable characters that will be available in the new game.
You can check out how Boa Hancock from One Piece, Medaka Kurokami and Misogi Kumagawa from Medaka Box, Lala Satarin Deviluke from To Love-ru, Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach and Chitoge Kirisaki from Nisekoi will look in the game by going at the end of this post. Watch out, as these characters can really put up a fight and keep up with some of most powerful fighters of the manga universe like Son Goku and Monkey D. Luffy!
A couple of weeks ago some new details have emerged on some of the game’s mechanics. Some of the playable characters will be able to transform during the match, obtaining more power as well as some unique special moves. J-Stars Victory VS is going to be a 2 VS 2 fighting game sporting a lot of playable characters taken from Shonen Jump manga series like Son Goku and Vegeta from Dragon Ball, Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto, Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin, Ichigo from Bleach and many more.
J-Stars Victory VS will be released in Japan on March 19th. While the game has yet to be announced for the West, Namco Bandai Europe has recently registered a domain for a yet to be revealed game called “Awakened Legends Vs.”, which could be the Western name for the game.
