Earlier this week we have reported that a game breaking bug has been discovered in Pokémon X & Y, a bug that forced gamers to delete their current save file and restart the game from scratch, losing all progress.
Nintendo has finally acknowledged the issue and has announced that the company is currently working on fixing the issue.
The Japanese company has also revealed that they will also fix the corrupted save files. If you have been affected by the bug, you may want to wait a few more days before deleting your corrupted save file.
For the time being players can save their game inside building in Lumiose City to avoid triggering the bug. Nintendo has also released a map showing where the bug usually manifests: avoid saving while standing in these places at all costs!
Pokémon X and Y has been released last week all over the world. The game is probably the finest entry of the series thanks to the many new features introduced by Game Freak. You’ll love the game even more if you’re a long time fan of the series since many classic Pokémon from Red and Blue have made a glorious comeback.
Pokémon X & Y is now available in all regions exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.
