Dragon’s Crown To Feature A Player VS Player Arena
New details have emerged today on the upcoming Dragon’s Crown, the sidescrolling 2D game currently in development by Vanillaware. The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that the game will also have a competitive multiplayer mode together with the cooperative one: the developers have added an arena mode which will allow players to fight others in some fierce player vs player battles.
The latest issue of Famitsu has also revealed that Dragon’s Crown is going to include many different food items, just like other Vanillaware games: players will also be able to cook to create new items and enjoy some extra benefits.
Dragon’s Crown won’t just feature beautiful 2D graphics but also a compelling gameplay experience: even though it may look like a simple side scrolling game, Dragon’s Crown will also offer a lot of depth thanks to a lot of customization options. You’ll be able to choose between a few different classes, equip them with different items, level them up in rpg fashion and learn new skills and spells. The online multiplayer co-op action will add another layer of depth to the game: by creating a balanced team you’ll conquer even the hardest of stages. Dragon’s Crown adds even more replay value with branching paths during each stage.
Dragon’s Crown is getting released in August in North America for Ps3 and PsVita: both versions will have a few cross-platform features. There are currently no news on a possible European release of the game.
