In a recent interview, Hideo Kojima has revealed that he’s quite interested in using some of the unique Xbox One feature to improve the gameplay experience of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V.
“The Kinect itself brings a lot of different capabilities as well and I will like to see what I can do with the voice command, and the movement with the gestures and see what we can do with that.”
Hideo Kojima is also interested in the possibilities offered by a potential second screen with the use of SmartGlass: he’s currently looking forward to being able to use different devices to bring the gaming experience to different kind of media.
Hideo Kojima is also looking forward to seeing what the new Microsoft Console is capable of doing graphically.
Despite the voice acting controversy, which began with the announcement that David Hayter wouldn’t be coming back to revise his role as Big Boss, Metal Gear Solid V is definitely one of the most interesting titles that have been shown at the E3. Kojima and his team have created a much more realistic stealth game than the previous entries of the series.
Metal Gear Solid V will launch sometime next year on Ps3, Ps4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
