To better promote the upcoming Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl, Atlus is going to release a few trailers introducing the main characters of the game. The first video has been released a few hours ago, showcasing Racoona Sheldon, a noble and modest woman at the vanguard of the Mizugaru Library Investigation Party. You can take a look at the trailer here.
Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl is the remake of the first Etrian Odyssey game, originally released on Nintendo DS. The original game was a nice dungeon crawler game where players had to explore dungeons, avoid traps and defeat the final boss of each dungeon. Millennium Girl will bring a lot of new features to the original game like a new story, new party members, a new Guild House, offering plenty of subquests and a new customization system based on the Grimoires found in the game which will allow players to customize their characters and monsters with some unique skills and spells. If you have no interest in these new gameplay options, you’ll be able to play the game in Classic Mode: the Classic Mode will allow you to experience the original gameplay experience of the first game with the updated graphics.
Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl will be released in Japan on June 27th. A North American and European versions haven’t been confirmed as of now but chances are pretty high considering all Etrian Odyssey games have been released at least in North America.
