Batman: Arkham Origins has been revealed by the latest issue of GameInformer: the big coverage on the game also revealed its first details. Together with the home console game, a portable spin off has been announced for PsVita and Nintendo 3DS called Arkham Origins Blackgate.
Among the first gameplay details on Arkham Origins, GameInformer also revealed that the game’s map would be quite big, even bigger than the one found in Arkham City. The magazine also published the full map: thanks to baziwood.ir we can finally take a deeper look at it.
As stated on the magazine scan, the northern island found on the map is the past version of the same environment found in Arkham City while the southern island is a completely new location: the map will really end up being more than double the size of the Arkham City map. Considering that the northern island will be somewhat different from what we have seen in Arkham City, there will be quite a few new locations to explore. You can check out the full map below.
Batman: Arkham Origins will launch this October on Ps3, Xbox 360, Pc and Wii. Arkham Origins Blackgate will launch on the same day on PsVita and Nintendo 3DS.
