According to the latest GameInformer, there’s going to be another Assassin’s Creed title released alongside Assassin’s Creed 3 this October, and it’s going to be released on the PlayStation Vita.
We don’t know a whole lot of details, but we do know some surprising little facts. The full title of the game is Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation, and it will be set at the same time as Assassin’s Creed 3.
The star of the game is a female assassin named Aveline, who will be of mixed French/African heritage. This marks the first playable female assassin seen in the series. The game itself will take place in the years of 1765-1780, towards the end of the French/Indian war. Interestingly enough, this game won’t be connected to Desmond.
Toting “true AC gameplay”, this portable title is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia who are working on it separately to the team working on Assassin’s Creed 3.
They’ve announced that it will have multiplayer that will be tailored specifically to the PlayStation Vita experience.
