Trion, developers behind Rift have just announced the first expansion for their hit MMO.
Trion announced that Storm Legion would be the name of the very first expansion for Rift, along with a vague time for release, stating that Q4 2012 we should expect to see this expansion. Trion also said that more news would be released over E3, so expect to see more news next week!
Whilst not a lot of story elements have been leaked, we do know that two more continents are being added to the world of Telara, effectively tripling the size of Rift.
New epic quests, seven dungeons, three raids and a Chronicle have also been announced alongside a whole host of other additions to pre-existing content. The level-cap is being increased by 10, making the new max level 60 as well as four more Souls are being added to increase the number of things you can do with each Calling.
Guilds are also getting some tasty treats in the form of Dimensions; customisable spaces for guilds to own and fit out however they want.
There’s some all new mounts, pets, tiles, artifacts, puzzles, achievements for pretty much everything.
Trion also teased us with something called Join The Hunt which is expected to be a new wave-based game mode perhaps?
