As you may already know, Resident Evil: Revelations is coming to consoles in a few months: the game was originally released on 3DS last year and it has been quite successful. The home console versions of the game will include a lot of new content which, quite unsurprisingly, won’t reach the 3DS version.
A fan asked on the Capcom Unity forums if the 3DS version will get updated after the game hits console and Christian Svensson answered clearly that there are currently no plans for updates for the 3DS version of the game. As stated above, this is hardly surprising since Capcom will probably want to make the console versions different from the 3DS version and get gamers who already got the game on Nintendo’s handheld to buy it again.
Resident Evil: Revelations HD will get a fully playable Rachel, who can be used in Raid Mode together with Hunk. New enemies and a new difficulty level will be included and the Wii U version will get some unique features like Miiverse integration and customizable “Death Messages”
Resident Evil: Revelations will release on May 21 in North America and on May 24 in Europe. The game will be available on Ps3, Xbox 360, Pc and Wii U.
