Injustice: Gods Among Us is set for an April release on all current generation home consoles: Ps3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. The game pits a lot of DC Comics characters fighting against each other in this 3D brawler featuring a deep storyline. Netherealm Studios considers the game’s story mode a true accomplishment since no fighting game has ever had something like this before.
Warner Interactive and Netherealm have teased today that the game may be getting released on PsVita sometime in the future. This portable version is, however, far from being sure to come: if the home console versions of the game sell enough, the team will bring the game to Sony’s handheld.
It wouldn’t be the first time a Netherealm developed game gets a late PsVita release many months after the console versions are out: the latest Mortal Kombat title has been released on PsVita after the console versions have been out for over a year.
Injustice: Gods Among us will hit North America and Europe in a little less than a month, with a scheduled release date of April 16 for North America and of April 19 for Europe. If you want to be able to play the game on the go, you know what you have to do this coming April.
