By reading some news regarding Tomb Raider, the recently released Tomb Raider series reboot, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos/ Square Enix, one would think we are back in the early 2000s, when Lara Croft was at the center of the spotlight and Tomb Raider games were selling a lot during the first days of release. Rest assured folks: we’re still in 2013 and Lara Croft is simply just as popular again, thanks to the excellent Tomb Raider reboot.

Tomb Raider has been released in North America just 2 days ago, with the European release happening today, and it already sold past 1 million copies: the news comes from the official Eidos forum, where an admin has posted about the great sales the game has been having.

These big sales number actually award the game’s quality: Tomb Raider is truly a great game and a great comeback for Lara. In a moment where third person adventure game are less than 10 hours long, Tomb Raider promises hours upon hours of solid content with lots to do, temples to explore and items to collect. Coupled with the great plot, the game offers a great gameplay experience.
