Following Sony’s major reveal of their upcoming next gen PlayStation 4 console, Ubisoft has decided to unveil the official box art for their highly-anticipated sleeper title ‘Watch Dogs’.
The cover has been confirmed to remain the same for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, however a different cover could be present for the PlayStation 4 version, which has also recently been confirmed. It features the game’s protagonist Aiden Pearce holding his phone in one hand and a pistol in the other. Watch Dogs plays off the idea that our technology driven society has made it so nearly everything is connected in some form. For a tech-savy vigilante such as Aiden, that allows him to control everything in his environment, from traffic lights to a monorail’s brakes.
Watch Dogs was originally unveiled at E3 2012 and has remained one of the most memorable and surprising elements of last year’s expo. A release date has not yet been announced but we’ll keep you up to date as more information becomes available.
