Resident Evil: Revelations is soon coming on Ps3, Xbox 360, Wii U and Pc in HD glory and together with the updated graphics will come a slew of other additions like rearranged enemy locations, a new difficulty mode and some extra modes, including a co-op mode called Raid Mode where players will be able to play as Umbrella operative HUNK, a recurring secret character of the series.

Even though there will always be an AI controlled partner during the Main Campaign, Capcom won’t be adding co-op play: a member of Capcom’s marketing staff has revealed on the company’s forums that a co-op mode outside of the extra Raid Mode isn’t planned. This doesn’t mean that it may not end up being included anyway, but chances are pretty slim. No reason was given for this decision as well: including co op may be requiring some extra gameplay tweaks which Capcom may not be willing to do. Still, it may not be that much of a big deal since co op will be present in some form and the game will have enough content to keep players happy.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be available on Pc, Xbox 360, Wii U and Ps3 on May 21 in North America and May 24 in Europe.
