There is nothing that we all love more than awards shows and awards handed out based upon a loose set of criteria and voted upon every year, right? Well, some of us actually like them, at least. This year’s DICE Summit has been underway for a while and Thursday evening featured the award show portion of the event, which Journey was nominated in a mind-boggling eleven categories. Fans of thatgamecompany will be pleased to find out that Journey walked away with eight wins out of eleven, which is really quite astonishing if you think about it.
I’m sure that everyone is waiting with baited breath to find out the winners, especially in certain categories. The biggest one is game of the year, which went to thatgamecompany’s Journey, much to no one’s surprise. Borderlands took home the prize for action game of the year, The Walking Dead adventure game of the year and, well, there are a lot of categories. Head over here and check it out.
