Pokemon X&Y aren’t the only Pokemon games which will reach our 3DS consoles during this 2013: the latest entry of the spin off Pokemon subseries Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates To Infinity will be available on March 24 in North America.
Gates To Infinity builds up in the previous entries of the spin off series which sports rogue-like gameplay with lots of dungeon crawling and, of course, Pokemon. Gates To Infinity will also feature a lot of the Unova region Pokemon, as well as full 3D graphics, a first for the series; some augmented reality features will also be present, together with some nice 3D effects, as usual for Nintendo first party games for the console.
Nintendo has unveiled some more features of the game: starting from release date optional downloadable content will be released, including extra dungeons and new Pokemons. The first extra dungeon will be called Pokè Forest Mystery Dungeon which will be offered for free until April 30. All the other extra content will be available starting from April, a few days later after the game officially launches in North America.
While the game comes in a little more than a month in North America, there’s no news on a possible European release.
