Microsoft has a new video interview up for Halo 4 with 343 Industries’ franchise director Frank O’Connor doing commentary duties.
The three-minute clip mostly shows single-player footage and some of them, admittedly, do look like re-hashed footage from previous trailers – but hey, we’ll take what we can get when it comes to Halo 4, no?
Frank does reveal that while the Covenant will be back in Halo 4, they won’t necessarily be the game’s main antagonist. Of course, he can’t go into detail without revealing the game’s actual plot; but he did let out that there will be new enemy types and there will be a new “bad guy” introduced into the game’s universe.
O’Connor also reveals that Halo 4 will give more detail on Master Chief’s backstory, but I highly doubt they’ll go all “Commander Shepard” on him and give players the full rundown when it comes to their silent protagonist.
Halo 4 will be out on November 6 exclusively for the Xbox 360.
