Scribblenauts Unlimited is having quite a bit of problems to get released in Europe: the game was supposed to be released together with the North American versions released in early December, but the game was delayed without explanation. The new release date also has arrived but the game got a last minute delay and now a new release date is unknown.

Apparently this was indeed a last minute decision, since some rumors state that copies of the game already reached retailers all over Europe and the game was ready to be sold. However Nintendo found out a critical bug in both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game and was forced to recall all copies of the game. The bug must have been critical indeed for Nintendo to make such a move, surely resulting in some partial losses for the publisher.

However as of now we must treat this as a rumor since Nintendo Life states that this comes from an anonymous source, most likely someone working in a retail store.

As of now, we still don’t know when the game will be finally released in Europe. We can expect some official statement from Nintendo in the coming hours.
