It looks like Team Meat’s next game, Mew-Genics will be heading to Steam after all. The game was teased a few weeks back, and it was only announced for the iPad. Team Meat now has confirmed that the game would be coming to PC via Steam. There will be other platforms as well, but the developers haven’t given any more details on that yet. After a pretty successful debut on the XBLA with Super Meat Boy, I’m sure a lot of people are anxiously waiting their next game. SMB became extremely popular on the Xbox and PC, but it Playstation fans never got the chance to play it on the PS3.
Hopefully their next game will make it to many more platforms than Super Meat Boy. The developers have stated that the game has been in development for 18 weeks now, and said that they have a long ways to go due to the game’s massive list of features. For people who’ve been waiting for the next Super Meat Boy, they will have to wait a lot longer. Edmund and Tommy have put an official hold on the next SMB game, and will put all of their efforts on Mew-Genics.
