Earlier this month, we reported on the Resident Evil Anniversary Package, or Biohazard Anniversary Package as it’s known in Japan. It may be a Japan-only bundle, but for you horror fanatic collectors out there, you could net yourself a neat little bonus if you shop at the right place.

According to e-Capcom, Capcom’s official online Japanese store, if you purchase the bundle directly from the website you will receive an exclusive herb tablet case.

If you’ve played RE6, you may remember that herbs have now become tablets that your character will consume. Ah, long gone are the days of herb powder and herb sprays in the prior games.

There are four types in total (representing each character from the image above), but the one you receive is selected at random. A little disappointing if you have a particular favourite, but a nice addition all the same. They will be given out in limited quantities and a first come first served basis, so be quick to get your pre-order in if you’re interested.

Priced at 8,990 yen ($102, or £64), Resident Evil Anniversary Package is set to launch for PS3 on March 22, 2013 in Japan. It will celebrate the 17th anniversary of the original game’s release, and will include 7 of the series’ mainline games. You can read more details here.
