Dead Or Alive 5 Plus is the PsVita port of the Team Ninja fighting game Dead Or Alive 5, released back in September on Ps3 and Xbox 360. The PsVita version of the game will sport some new features as touchscreen based moves, new training controls and an optional first person view mode during fights, with controls changing as well.

Thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu, new details have emerged on Dead or Alive 5 Plus: first, all costumes and DLC bought for the Ps3 version will also become playable on the PsVita version, without having to buy them again and the same goes when content is purchased for the PsVita. The Cross System DLC is definitely a nice feature which will actually benefit the port in the long run. Among the additions are the Cross Play Option and Cross Save options, allowing the game’s progress to be shared between the two platforms, as well as allowing multiplayer gaming between Ps3 and PsVita users: it looks like Team Ninja has taken a good look at Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale and all its Ps3-PsVita Cross Functions and that’s surely a good thing.

Dead Or Alive 5 Plus will be arriving on March 2013 on PsVita.
