It has been quite some time since we have heard anything about Splinter Cell: Blacklist. However, today Ubisoft finally announced a release date for the game; Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be released on August 20th, 2013.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist was scheduled to be released sometime during the spring of this year, but no official release date was revealed. In other words, the game has been delayed by a few months; most likely due to the fact that spring is already loaded with games and the back half of 2013 has almost nothing coming out.
That is not all; Ubisoft was also kind enough to give us a new trailer for the game as well. And I have to say after watching the new trailer, Splinter Cell: Blacklist looks much more like a Splinter Cell game now than what the initial E3 trailer showed. The trailer showed Splinter Cell: Blacklist is going to be released on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC but there is no mention of the Wii U.
