It looks like one of the greatest centers to ever play in the NBA, has finally returned to video games. Shaqdown is his latest venture into the virtual world, and it’s available today for iOS and Android. It’s a free runner smash em up, that has Shaq taking down tons of zombies. You’ll have to master all of Shaq’s iconic moves, including his style of Shaqfu, as you try to build up your score and finish the level. Say what you want, but Hiptic Games has done a good job of recreating the famous center and transferring all of his intricacies into a mobile game.
The game actually doesn’t look that bad, compared to Shaq’s previous media endeavors, it looks to be a neat little game that could kill a lot of time. Shaq Fu on the NES wasn’t a good game by any means, but the insane hilarity of it gave people enough reason to buy it. That’s the main reason I believe Shaq’s first venture into the mobile market will be a successful one, if you watched the trailer, you’ll know how crazy the premise really is. I’ve already downloaded the game, it’s only .99 cent, not bad for a cool mobile download.
