According to the man himself, world renowned radio artist DJ Kavinsky is set to appear in Grand Theft Auto 5. Kavinsky, who’s real name is Vincent Belorgey, is known around the world as a talented electro/house DJ, whose work has been seen in various film and video games.
The word comes as no surprise, as this will not be Kavinsky’s first time in the Grand Theft Auto. Many of the DJ’s remixes were included in Grand Theft Auto IV, albeit his inclusion seems to be more prominent this time around.
How much of Kavinski’s music will be included in the game is still unknown but, according to a post on his official Twitter page, it seems as though his music will be in one of the in-game fictional radio stations titled ‘NightRide FM’.
DJ Kavinsky emerged into the mainstream last year, with some of his music appearing in blockbuster films such as The Lincoln Lawyer and Drive. With the drastically increased popularity of dub step and related music genres, it comes as no surprise that Rockstar Games would begin to recruit some of the bigger names in the industry.
