Mass Effect is one of those game series that helped push the envelope of modern games through incredibly immersive storytelling, character development and scripting and has amassed a huge following. Even though Commander Shepard’s story has come to an end in Mass Effect 3, BioWare plans to continue telling stories within the Mass Effect universe, and that means Mass Effect 4 will be coming to us in the future. There have been very, very few details about Mass Effect 4, but for now fans of the scifi series can be comforted that BioWare does have a rough release window in mind.
In an interview with GamerSyndrome, BioWare was pretty honest about a number of things, one of which was the release date window for the upcoming Mass Effect 4, and that is late 2014 to early 2015. Sure, that is a ways off, but logically that means that fans can expect Mass Effect 4 to be released for the next gen consoles, as I doubt that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will still be the main consoles of choice in late 2014.
