TrueAchievements has shared its Xbox Game Pass Free Benefits for October 2026 roundup, giving subscribers a look at the perks included with their membership each month. The listing only features the headline, so Explosion can’t confirm the specific benefits just yet.
This information is important. Game Pass perks usually consist of in-game items, trials, and partner offers, and their value can really change from month to month. Until we get the full list confirmed through Xbox’s official channels, treat any details about October’s rewards as not verified.
This timing puts Microsoft’s subscription head-to-head with Sony’s offerings. Game Rant reports that PS Plus is losing two highly-rated games on October 20, including one that’s considered one of the service’s best. The article mentions the Silent Hill 2 remake and a Yakuza title.
Catalog rotation is the main issue for all subscription services. Subscribers pay for access, not ownership. Each departure date impacts how people view the monthly fee’s value. A month filled with strong free extras and minimal exits benefits the platform that offers them.
October is also a busy month for those hunting free items outside of console subscriptions. Our source feed lists at least 10 code guides for October 2026, including PCGamesN’s Anime Ball Battles codes, eight lists from Destructoid, and a Pro Game Guides roundup for Sunshine Valley. Most of these focus on Roblox-style games that give out coins, gems, and boosts.

Community Pulse
We don’t have player reviews or forum posts in our source material, so there are no verified community quotes to share. Reactions to the PS Plus removals will likely pop up quickly. Departures of well-reviewed games usually get complaints from subscribers who haven’t finished them yet. We’ll update with direct feedback as it becomes available.
