SOM Talk Live is the latest podcast becoming a crowd favorite with its entertaining guest and deep conversations. The podcast is hosted by actor, chef, & entrepreneur Rueben Wood and presented by SOM Magazine.
We had the chance to interview Rueben about the podcast going FM below:
What does it mean for a talk show to go FM?
Rueben: It’s really just a fancy term for syndicated. SOM Talk Live has now become syndicated through AMFM247 broadcast network. The show reaches 12 FM stations through its syndication in different states and markets.
So is your show just a podcast or is it a talk show?
Rueben: It’s a talk show and a podcast since episodes are archived, but it’s growing so it may become an everyday thing.
So what do you have planned in the future for the show?
Rueben: To reach more markets, and more listeners. In 2019 I want to do more and make more strategic moves for the SOM brand in general.
How did you get your start in broadcasting?
Rueben: I’ve been doing interviews since 2012 and haven’t stopped since. Being the owner of SOM Magazine made an impact and helped grow the passion but just having conversations with interesting people was the biggest peak of interest for me.
