If you’re an old time games and you have ever had the chance to play on an old Commodore Amiga, there’s a good chance that the name Giana Sisters means something to you. Not being able to enjoy the Super Mario Bros series on their home computer, The Great Giana Sisters was one of the best 2D platformers available, even though the game was clearly a Super Mario rip off. The game surfaced again on the Nintendo DS with a less than stellar entry and the franchise will be coming back soon on consoles this spring
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams was originally released on Pc some months ago, during fall 2012 and it was quiet a successful release: the game was praised for its visuals and 2D gameplay, finally taking a completely different path from its inspirations while retaining that little something that nostalgic players love.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams will finally be available this Spring on both Xbox 360 and Ps3: the game will be a faithful port of the Pc versions and it will come together with achievements and trophies. Price and exact release date are still unannounced but will probably hear about them pretty soon. No news on possible extra content for the console versions as well.
