The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is an upcoming FPS game from Activision and is based upon the smash-hit comic and television series and will sadly be nothing like Telltale’s game. That is what we know about the upcoming title, and this week it looked like we might have learned a little bit more about the game as a trailer hit the internet and it showcased what looked to be kind of a cookie-cutter FPS game with zombies and a lot of sneaking around. It turns out that the footage that was shown was taken from a test build of the game that was shown to IGN a while back and it is not, at all, what to expect from The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
That is good news and bad news, because the trailer was quite lackluster and the game looked a bit ho-hum. The good news is that the game still has no release date and we have yet to really see what the game can provide. The bad news is that the chances of the game looking and feeling much different is probably pretty low. It looks pretty far along in development and that it just needs a fresh coat of paint on it before it is seaworthy.
