Dev got in contact with me very quickly and advised that he released a patch to address the issues, seems to be working fine for me now. So changing the review to a positive, I can certainly recommend now that the bug was patched

Alright I figured I should give this game another look since the developers patched a bunch of things and I haven't encountered the black screen bug since I started a new save.

The game makes me think of an RPG Maker 'Recettear'. So, ya I'll be using some references from that gam”

“when I escaped the dungeon the screen stayed black. Also there are some instances where there is no dialogue. needs lots of work.”
