If you see a dozen well build men dressed in full Spartan costumes complete with weapons in the metro during your morning commute you’ll probably think that you’re still sleeping. Yet, that’s exactly what happened one morning in the London metro.
This Spartan invasion happened a while ago, in September 2014 and was not some prank made by the costumed Spartans. This was actually an elaborate marketing stunt to promote the release of the fantasy movie 300: Rise of an Empire.
The movie may not have been a big success in the end, but their promotional efforts definitely left an impression. Here’s what the Londoners saw that day.
