Childbirth is a small miracle for the mother since it always carries a certain amount of risk for birth the mother and the baby. But Chelsea Philips ‘s baby was a true medical miracle.
Baby Silas Philips was born almost 3 months premature with a Cesarean section, which is a lot more common procedure than you think. What made this baby so unique is that it was born still inside the amniotic sac, floating in fluid and still receiving oxygen trough the placenta until the moment the sac was ruptured.
The surprised doctors performing the procedure called this case a “medical miracle”. Luckily, everything went well and baby Silas is alive and well, waiting to be released from the hospital.
