<p>Remember Me is one of those games that grabbed me by the nostrils the moment I seen it. It has all the hallmarks of a great work of science fiction in video games, and thus far, not a single thing I&#8217;ve seen has been disappointing, be it screen shots, character art, limited story details or even just conversing with my peers over the way the game seems to fundamentally “move” differently than other games. It has all been good. It has a certain Deus Ex feel about it, which is strange. When you see a game that tries to ape Deus Ex, you generally get a strange, bloom rich, flaccid sort of game. But this game isn&#8217;t trying to be like Deus Ex. And that is just awesome! That two games can exist in the same medium nowadays, have similar styling and similar plot development (so far) and not be criticized is a good thing, it just proves that the developer (who can be found at @C4RP3R) knows exactly what&#8217;s going on and how to handle such a promising title. Now I&#8217;m not one to gush on the franchises that look appealing to me, so I never like to speak about my expectations for games unless I have first hand experience with them, or I have seen a solid reel of game play. Having seen a moderate amount of game play in the trailers and releases we have all seen, I&#8217;m confident that this is either going to be a blockbuster, or a hidden gem with a monstrous cult following, once again just like Deus Ex, massively popular, but only in the right circles. And besides, have you heard the audio tracking for it? “Remember Me” has some of the best vocal work I&#8217;ve heard in a really long time, and on top of that, it is fully voice in 5 languages! THAT is commitment to your product, and there is certainly a great deal of conviction driving this game forward. Speaking about the game, Capcom had this to say:</p>

<p>If that brief list of information, plus the plot summary doesn&#8217;t get you all hot and bothered, then I don&#8217;t know what will. A certain thing that grabbed my interest was the fact that Nilin is &#8220;proficient&#8221; in martial arts. To me, that&#8217;s just awesome, I&#8217;ve had enough running around with a massive testosterone guns taking fist sized chunks out of my enemies, it will be nice to close the distance and get down to brawling, the mere implementation of close combat dramatically changes any game, imagine Metal Gear Solid without CQC or Gears of War without the lancer, getting in your opponents face is always an interesting way to change things up.</p>
