<p>Nintendo is gearing up the DLC machine for one of the bigger hits for the Wii U in Mario Kart 8. The latest DLC packs announced are great additions for the game. Now that there is a clearer picture of the final character roster for Super Mash Bros., I put together an early character wish list of the classic characters I would like to see added to the player roster of Super Smash Bros. via downloadable content.</p>

<p><strong>5. Falco &#8211; Star Fox</strong></p>
<p>The Smash Bros. games have multiple characters from different game series. So, why not more characters for Star Fox? It is time for the Smash Bros. franchise to have another character from Star Fox to play as, and the super cool Falco fits the bill.</p>
<p><strong>4. Wart &#8211; Super Mario Bros. 2</strong></p>

<p>It is about time for Wart to get some spotlight again; and what better way than Super Smash Bros.? Bowser is a playable character in the game, but I really want to play as the frog boss character from the Super Mario series.</p>
<p><strong>3. Proto Man/Blues &#8211; Mega Man 3</strong></p>
<p>Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS will feature the debut of Mega Man. I was somewhat torn between using Dr. Wily or Proto Man, but I would really like to see a Proto Man DLC in the game. I imagine it would not hard to make a Proto Man character since his character model is already so similar to his brother, Mega Man.</p>
<p><strong>2. Mike Tyson &#8211; Punch Out!!</strong></p>

<p>The game has Little Mac, so why not the legendary boxing champion, Mike Tyson? I do not see why it would be so hard for Nintendo to work out a deal to get this done. Nintendo and Mercedes-Benz did a promotional deal for DLC karts for Mario Kart 8. It would be awesome to actually play as a modern version of Punch-Out!!&#8217;s Mike Tyson in this game. Tyson was a final boss of sorts in the original game. It is in the spirit of the franchise to incorporate Mike Tyson into the game. Villains and boss characters from other franchises are playable in this game. Case in point: King Dedede and Meta Knight from Kirby.</p>
<p><strong>1. Solid Snake &#8211; Metal Gear Solid</strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 11.25pt 0in 11.25pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif'; color: #333333;">Snake was one of my favorite additions to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I do not know if it is feasible to use Solid Snake again, but I would definitely like to see him back as a guest character for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS. I want it to be the David Hayter version as well.</span></p>

That’s a pretty bad line up. Sorry. I think they should dump in Bayonetta, Splatoon or even Dr. Robotnik from Sonic and Dr Wiley from Megaman too. It’s good to play the boss once in a while.

1) Falco has been around since Melee, and Brawl had Wolf too so there were 3 Starfox characters in that one…
