<p><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif'; color: #333333;">Ubisoft released a new story and gameplay trailer this week for its upcoming </span>installment in the Assassin&#8217;s Creed franchise, Assassin&#8217;s Creed Unity. The new trailer features narration by the game&#8217;s protagonist, the assassin Arno Dorian, who is fighting for the plight of the proletariat during the era of the French Revolution. The trailer has me even more pumped and excited for the latest vision of the series.</p>

Arno is on a mission for justice and to provide hope among the commoners. The trailer features cuts and various sequences of footage from the videos Ubisoft showed at E3. The footage focuses on Arno&#8217;s gameplay and paths, and players do not see any of the other co-op assassins that are playable in the game. In addition, the trailer does not mention the Templar&#8217;s role in this chapter of the Assassin&#8217;s Creed saga. It is exciting to know that Arno is not a character who comes from the Desmond Miles family line. This idea exemplifies that the Assassin&#8217;s Creed saga is growing and branching out beyond Desmond Miles and his ascendants.</span></p>
<p style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 11.25pt 0in 11.25pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif'; color: #333333;">I will be curious to see how in-depth the characterizations of the co-op assassins will be in the game. In the E3 demos, all the co-op assassins appeared to have their own unique looks, weapons and style. Another major point of curiosity is how the plot of this game will tie into the modern day setting.</span></p>
<p style="line-height: 15.6pt; margin: 11.25pt 0in 11.25pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica','sans-serif'; color: #333333;">The visuals from the trailer look fantastic, especially since just about all of the trailer looked to be actual in-game footage. The realization of 18th century Paris in the game is extraordinary. Paris looks like a major character in the game on its own. Since the game is a next-gen title, it appears that the developers at Ubisoft Montreal are getting the most out of the new-gen technology. The environments are incredibly active and teaming with non-playable character models. The appearance of the bustling, chaotic Paris looks like a step above the previous Assassin&#8217;s Creed titles. It was an absolute no-brainer for Ubisoft to set the game during the period of the French Revolution. The era is probably the most appropriate one yet for the franchise.</span></p>

Unity&#8217;s dynamic descent is also featured in the trailer and is a great new feature. </span>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Unity will be available on October 28 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.</p>
