<p><em>Triviador</em> is a unique Facebook game that combines the concepts of Risk and Trivial Pursuit into a fun, new pass time. <em>Triviador, </em>developed by THQ Games PLC, is described as a mass multiplayer strategy-trivia game, and it combines the two elements exceptionally well. If you’re a fan of trivia and always wanted a bit more strategy in your game, then <em>Triviador</em> is a title you shouldn’t miss out on.</p>

<p>A basic match in <em>Triviador</em> starts with three real players (no AI) having their bases or castles randomly placed across a map of the world that has been split into territories. There follows four rounds of questions with player closest to the answer getting two troop placements, the second closest player getting one troop placement and the third player having no gain. After all of the troops have been placed, another round of four turns commences. During their turn, each player can attack a neighboring territory to attempt to take the location for their own. The ‘battles’ are determined by the answers to trivia questions. The trivia questions cover most topics, but seem to lean towards history, science and math with some popular culture coming up every once in awhile. However, the best guess wins, and you’re playing against two other real people. So, there’s no reason to assume that you wouldn’t like the game just because you’re not a genius in those categories.</p>
<p>To win a match of <em>Triviador</em> you’ll have to be the player with the highest score or have conquered all of your opponents’ castles. The scores are pretty simple to determine; a castle is worth 1000 points, a territory is worth 200 points and a territory that has been conquered is worth 400 points. In order to conquer an opponent’s castle, you’ll have to attack and answer three questions correctly, one for each tower of the castle. Once a castle has been taken over, that player is out of the game and the conquering player takes over all of their territories. A defender with the correct answer earns 100 points, and any time attacker and defender both get a question wrong the turn is over.</p>
<p>The trivia questions of <em>Triviador</em> are timed, so the players only have a few seconds to answer, and no time to cheat. There are some booster items that can help eliminate wrong answers, or give you a tactical advantage on the map, but mostly the players have to rely on trivial knowledge and quick thinking. While initially <em>Triviador</em> may seem like more trivia than strategy, there are definitely some strategies that can help you win a match, even if you don’t answer the most trivia question correctly. Experience is gained at the end of a match, which eventually leads to leveling up and earning booster items.</p>

<p><em>Triviador</em> is an excellent game for anyone who enjoys some competitive trivia. However, the game is very basic without additional modes of play, story or end game features. While the game can still be enjoyed just as it is, its score is slightly lower for not trying to go the extra mile.</p>
