But before we get started, we wanted to clarify our interpretation of danger. Because, of course, danger could be crossing a busy freeway! However, for this list, we have defined it as areas of the world that can put you at risk. Some places on the list are dangerous because of the animals that live there, some because of the environment, and others are dangerous due to high crime rates and war.</span></p>

Golden lancehead snakes, a pit viper species, and one of the world&#8217;s most deadly serpents threaten the island. Every day, over seven individuals are slaughtered in this city. This city is well-known for its poverty and violent crime, including homicides and kidnappings. Human trafficking and drug sales by various gangs are the leading causes of this violence. Another source of conflict is the rivalry between the Sinaloa and Tijuana cartels.</span></li>
