One such man who rose from the ashes and lived a better tomorrow is fitness expert Brandon Shredded. Originally named Brandon Reynolds, this 29-year-old entrepreneur was born in Chicago, Illinois. He has obtained his Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from Kankakee Community College. However, that’s not the route he wanted his life to take.
Talking about his early years and what inspired him to be an entrepreneur, Brandon says, “While I was growing up, I saw my father, Steve Reynolds, as an accomplished entrepreneur. He owned several businesses including Polekatz Gentlemen’s club that I was supposed to take over from him. Unfortunately, my father passed away unexpectedly in 2007 when I was all of 18 years of age. That’s when we lost everything. I slowly spiraled into depression because of which I was having trouble keeping a job. I eventually got my CNA certificate and landed a job at St. Mary’s Hospital – Veterans Home.”
Brandon thought that his job at the hospital would be a fresh start, but he didn’t know what was in store for him. He says, “I worked as a CNA for 5 years, but I was battling depression throughout that period.” It was in 2013 that he decided to take charge of his life. That was the year he started an Instagram account to document the bodybuilding show that he was doing at the time. Before he knew it, he had thousands of people following him on the picture-sharing platform. Brandon realized that now was the time to pursue his dreams and he decided to dive into the world of fitness head first. Talking about his journey, Brandon shares, “I quit my job in 2014 and sold everything that I had. I moved to Arizona to start my life over and to chase my fitness dream. What started off as a personal fitness account helps me earn a good living today!”
Online training has made Brandon a famous name and a force to reckon with in the digital world. However, his struggles didn’t end with his rising popularity. In 2016, he started Limitless Supps and even though he went broke in the process, he didn’t give up on his dream. Due to his relentlessness and sheer will, Limitless Supps is a 6-figure company today and he gets to take home a neat package of $10,000 every month!
Picking yourself up and moving on after you’ve fallen is commendable. But to continue picking yourself after you’ve fallen several times is what separates an ordinary human from an extraordinary human. It’s time we start striving to fall in the latter category.
