On June 29th, the San Diego’s couple Jeannette Toczko 96, and Alexander Toczko 95 celebrated their 75th marriage anniversary.
On that same day Alexander died peacefully in his loving wife’s arms, just as he always wished for. Jeannette followed him the next day.
It is a sad, but unavoidable ending to a lifelong romance. According to their children who celebrated their last anniversary with them, the love they shared never diminished in all the years they’ve been together.
In this day and age when love seems to be a fleeting thing, it is reassuring and truly heartwarming to hear a true love story like this one.
