Explosion is an up and coming gaming culture outlet founded in February 2012 by Lucky Star Group. Our team of contributors gives gamers news, along with feature articles and impartial reviews, industry interviews, and a dedicated gaming podcast. We keep our eyes on all levels of the industry, from blockbuster hits down to obscure indie titles that slip through the cracks of other news outlets.
Because our coverage isn’t biased toward any platform or genre; we embrace consoles like the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, Wii and Wii U, along with PC, Mac and mobile platforms ranging from iPhone and Android, to 3DS, PSP, and PS Vita.

A poor soul lost in gaming since 1989 trying to make a living writing about the things he loves the most: video games, heavy metal music and Japanese Culture. Japanese Role Playing Games fanatic never refusing a good play, if the game looks interesting enough.
I’m currently completing a TV Production degree at Bournemouth University. I’m a keen film-maker, performer and writer – however nothing satisfies me more than settling down in front of the TV with a fantastic game.

Growing up I was a huge Blizzard fan, playing most of the games in the Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft series. I also played many RPGs on Playstation and on the computer.
I’ve been into gaming since I was about 4 years old, playing the Game Boy, PSOne and Sega Mega Drive . Having these systems around during my youth lead to the greatest and most-anticipated Christmas ever – the year I got my N64! Open to any system and genre, I remain completely unbiased as a proud owner of a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS.

As a kid, I grew up with my N64 and Gameboy Color, and the rest was history. I was instantly hooked by anything gaming related, and it hasn’t changed since. Although my love for Nintendo hasn’t changed, the PS3 is currently my favorite system. I love sports games, RPGs, shooters, and RTS games.
