SuperBot’s highly-anticipated brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is almost here, but those hoping for a last minute announcement about their favorite characters being included are out of luck. Sid Shuman made the announcement one Twitter that the entire launch line-up of characters has already been revealed, so don’t expect any new ones to be added. See the Tweet below:
While it may be a bit disappointing for some, knowing that fan-favorites like Crash Bandictoot won’t be making an appearance, that’s not to say that they never will. After all, it was only stated that the launch line-up has been announced. Thanks to DLC, the possibilities are endless, meaning that we’re sure to get new characters within the year to follow the game’s launch. However, the game is shipping with a 20 character roster, which will keep people busy for quite some time. The official roster is as follows:
- Cole MacGrath
- Evil Cole MacGrath
- Colonel Radec
- Dante
- Fat Princess
- Heihachi Mishima
- Jak and Daxter
- Kratos
- Nariko
- Nathan Drake
- PaRappa the Rapper
- Raiden
- Ratchet and Clank
- Sackboy
- Sir Daniel Fortesque
- Sly Cooper
- Spike
- Sweet Tooth
- Toro
The roster is already pleasing, featuring a nice blend of new and old characters. The inclusion of the more obscure fighters such as Sir Daniel Fortesque (from MediEvil) and Spike (from Ape Escape) is a nice touch as well. The question on everyone’s mind is whether or not there a unlockable hidden characters, which tends to be the case in similar games. Could SuperBot be hiding a few more fighters from us? Unfortunately, we still have a couple of months to wait. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be available on November 20, exclusively for PS3 and Vita.
